Tour Itinerary

Day 1

We start our Cornish Experience with the North Coast of Cornwall. Starting at Wheal Coates at St Agnes and working our way up through Newquay, visiting The Headland Hotel where we have morning coffee overlooking Fistral Beach. We move onto Bedruthan Steps and Padstow for a quick stop at the fishing harbour before rounding the Camel river and heading to Port Isaac where we stop for lunch. We finish the day at the viewing point of King Arthurs Tintagel Castle along the Southwest Coast Path.

Day 2

We embark on our second day to the South Coast of Cornwall. Starting in Falmouth Bay and working our way around The Carrick Roads across The King Harry Ferry to The Roseland. Passing through St Mawes we head up the coast towards Mevagissey stopping in at Portscatho on our way for a Cornish Pasty or Cream Tea. Whatever tickles ya fancy. We stop at the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan to view the stunning gardens and soak up the history of the estate before heading for Charlestown to finish our day.

Day 3

We head to The Lizard and West Cornwall on day three. Visiting some of the most dramatic coves and mines in Cornwall recently made famous by the series Poldark. We start at The Lizard, the most southerly point of the UK mainland and work our way around to St Michaels Mount. A quick photo opportunity and onto Penzance. If you would like to visit the mount please contact for changes in itinerary. From here we head to The Merry Maidens and Lamorna Cove for a crab sandwich with a view. On to The Minack Theatre and Lands End, the most Westerly part of mainland UK. Our last two stops are at The Crowns in St Just and the old St Ives road to take a meander through the streets of St Ives.

Day 4

We head into mid Cornwall for our fourth day, exploring the mid Cornwall mines along the Kennal and Carnon River. We start at Hawkes Shaft with a short walk to view the old Pumping House. Next stop Gwennap Pit and the historic open air amphitheatre. We then take a quick drive to Ale and Cakes Mine and walk through time to marvel at Cornwall’s industrial history. Stithians Resorvoir next and a pit stop at Wild Vibes Cafe for lunch. We head along the Kennal River next and soak in the ancient woodland and disused gunpowder works. We finish our day at Devoran. Both rivers meet at Restronguet Creek and we maybe even cram in a pint at the local pub.

Day 5

We start inland at The Jamaica Inn for tales of witchcraft and smuggling, a favourite with Daphne de Maurier fans. We follow the Fowey river down to Golitha Falls for a walk through the ancient woodland and view the cascades of water and nature reserve. Afterward, we’ll head to Lostwithiel which was once the capital of Cornwall and grab a Nellys pasty for good measure. Next the tiny village of Gollant. A quick walk along the river and always chance to stop at the local pub for a pint or lunch if you are sick of pasties by now! We finish the day exploring Fowey Harbour with a chance to browse the shops.
