Our first stop is at Pendennis Point to overlook Falmouth Bay and learn about the rich history of The Carrick Roads. We then stop in Falmouth town for you to explore the port town.
Next, a quick stop at The Pandora Inn on Restronguet Creek. A local favourite and mining history dating back to 2500BC!
We take the King Harry Ferry across the river and make our way to St Mawes. A quick photo op and a drive through the village on our way up the coast.
We pull in at Portscatho on the Roseland, this beautiful fishing village which also offers a fantastic pasty or cream tea to keep you going.
This idyllic south coast gem featured in the photo is our spot to put your toes in the sand.
We drive through the tiny cove of Portmellon on our way to Mevagissey. A walk out onto the quay to view this still bustling fishing village and might be your spot to buy some locally caught fresh fish. Be sure to have it wrapped up well!
Having been lost to nature during WW1, The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a must see when you come to Cornwall. The estate was revived in 1990 to become the Europe’s largest garden restoration project, and they sure did do well.
Another historic place to visit here in Cornwall. Known for its use in filming most recently the Poldark Series where it was used as the backdrop for the city of Truro.
Our last stop of the day is Fowey, with literary links to Wind in The Willows and tales of smuggling Kings you can’t go wrong with exploring Fowey.
We’ll leave Fowey in time to get you back to your accommodation by 5pm
