Objects lead us to the human story. People connect with people. Whether it's an artefact, a work of art, or traces of lives from the past, every piece holds something human within it. Who it belonged to, who created it, and what it meant at the time all shape how we understand it today. When those stories are told well, a space comes alive.
That is the work I do.
What Do I Do?
I create story led content for museums, galleries and heritage spaces. Working from your brief, your collection and your audience, I develop heritage interpretation and content that is clear, engaging and built around human stories. It is designed to guide visitors through a space, hold their attention and add meaning to what they are seeing.
My work includes exhibition text, audio tour scripts and digital content for platforms such as VoiceMap, Bloomberg Connects and Curio. I also write directional and navigational content, helping visitors move through a space with confidence while remaining immersed in the experience.
Every piece is written to do more than inform. It is there to engage, connect and create meaningful visitor experiences.

"Look at the faces, the folds of the robes, the way the wood grain suggests movement."
Every project begins with research.
Whether working from an existing interpretation plan, a museum collection, archival material or stakeholder interviews, I start by understanding the stories, themes and audiences that matter most.
From there, I develop content that is accurate, accessible and engaging. Complex information is distilled into clear, memorable narratives that help visitors connect with people, places and collections.
My work includes exhibition text, object labels, audio tour scripts, gallery interpretation, digital content and visitor information. Each piece is written with both the audience and the wider visitor journey in mind.
The result is interpretation that informs, engages and encourages visitors to explore further.

If you're working on a museum, gallery or heritage space and need engaging interpretation, storytelling or visitor focused content, I would love to hear about it. I am always happy to discuss ideas, review what is already in place and explore how content can strengthen visitor engagement and connection. You can get in touch here:
